The current flag of the Communist Party of Britain (CPB) can be seen at http://www.communist-party.org.uk/index.php?file=flagad. I have such a flag and the image is an accurate representation of it. Like several other flags designed to be used on demonstrations (e.g. the rainbow "PACE" flag) this one is stitched so as to have a sleeve along its hoist, designed to insert a pole into. The reverse of the flag shows the symbols and the "Communist Party" lettering reversed.
According to the above webpage, this particular hammer and sickle was
designed in 1930 by Eric Gill for the Daily Worker (the forerunner of the
Morning Star). The CPB uses this hammer and sickle on much of their current
literature together with their other symbol, the hammer and dove. I am unaware
of any flags which use the hammer and dove.
